RettaJay (Loretta Johnson) is the recipient of many awards and honors, including two first place ribbons in the Houston Art Society, various ribbons from the Denver Art Club, the Lufkin Art Guild "Best of Show", the Shirlie Dauphin Memorial "Best Landscape" award, and many other awards in various cities.

She is consistently asked to display her art work in the Western Regional Art Show in Cheyenne, Wyoming, as part of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Many of RettaJay's paintings (nearly 30) were commissioned by Leanin' Tree, Inc. (one of the nation's largest greeting card companies) for use in greeting card covers. Regard for RettaJay's artwork has given her widespread popularity, with clients in almost every state, and overseas, for both commercial and residential display.

Personalized Paintings	$0.75 to $1.50 per square inch depending on complexity of design. An 18x24 painting would be $324 to $648, without framing. Paintings will typically be $1.00 to $1.50 per square inch, unless the subject matter is very basic, or no research is required.
Landscapes, wildlife, floral, seascapes, etc.	$0.75 to $1.50 per square inch.
Pets	$0.75 to $1.50 per square inch
Portraits	$1.00 to $1.50 per square inch
Whimsical	$0.50 to $1.25 per square inch

Framing

Framing can be arranged with advanced agreement. While custom framing can be very expensive, RettaJay can often provide very beautiful stock frames for $50 to $300.

Terms

Specific prices will be quoted after discussion of subject matter. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remainder is due after completion and before shipment. A photograph of the completed painting can be furnished before final payment, if desired. "Art by RettaJay" will contractually commit itself to a completed painting.
